Looking for ways to make money

Commuting to school sucks, especially when you don' have a car.  I take the bus to school and what i usually a 15 minute car ride becomes a 1.5 hour ordeal.  So yeah it gets pretty irritating.

I have started looking for a job but the law school has certain restrictions on students having a job.  They made us sign a contract saying we can only work 10 hours a week.  Other avenues for money that I have played around with is this blog and youtube.  Trying to think what would be an interesting topic to make videos about.

The gym finally opened in my school today, so I got back to working.  Man it felt great!  The apartment I live in has their own gym, but it is basically just a bench, dumbbells (up to 50 lbs) and a few treadmills.  So it was not the best environment to get a good workout in.  But now with my school's gym being open I can go back to a regular workout schedule.

Crummy Weather

What lousy weather we have today in NJ. Everything is covered in ice. I commute to school so it's specially a pain to walk to the bus in this weather. I cannot wait until it is summer, tired of this winter stuff.

Today I sent out a job application. A part that sucks about law school is that every summer you actually have to get a job. Some people think that coming to law school will save them from the recession (legal market is way down) but law students are actually directly affected by it. Every summer you are encouraged to get a summer position to gain some legal experience. This is not mandatory, however, students who do not do it will have a harder time finding a job in the future. Back in the good old days (before the recession) this position would be paid, but now most of the positions are unpaid and even then a lot of students don't get one. I am currently in the process of applying to as many places as possible but the area I can work in is limited because I don't have a car (I am poor).

I'll probably be updating this blog every day with things that I have done for the day or thoughts that I have. If anyone has a specific question they would like to ask me about anything, feel free to ask.
